My first career was in music. I performed at Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall before I was twelve, later played Nathan Phillips Square in a rock band, recorded at Metalworks, toured the US, and worked in professional studios in Toronto. That world taught me how to perform under pressure, collaborate with talented people, and stay calm when the stakes are high.
Software became the focus from there. Over 20+ years, I’ve built systems for Bell Media, Corus Entertainment, Thomson Reuters, KPMG, the Ontario government, and U.S. federal and military projects. I’ve been the entire engineering department for startups and have served as Acting CTO, helping scale a healthcare platform to more than a million users.
